Testimonials

Our children Cameron and Chloe have been taking lessons with Kazue Suzuki since 2006. It has been a joy to see her relate to them as very young children and as young adults. She has allowed them to grow and develop musically by encouraging them and expecting good effort.

She inspires young musicians with her own amazing talent. She is an incredible pianist and all-around musician! And as our son heads to college, he will carry this love of music with him thanks to Ms. Suzuki.

- Parents of students, Cameron & Chloe Elmore

"Not only does Kazue's guidance get me groovin', but it also teaches me how to be comfortable with performing in front of an audience. In three years, I've learned how to persevere and break down difficult pieces into manageable measures. Kazue is a remarkable piano teacher and a great story teller too!" - Jack Henry Majeski

"I’ve been taking piano lesson from Kazue Suzuki's Wildwind Piano Studios for a few years. The experience is one I will never forget she is an amazing teacher. It is so fun preparing for a concert, you get so nervous then when your time comes to shine you blow the audience away. Plus I consider Kazue my friend. She is a good person and fun to be around. Concerts are pretty much always optional so if you are embarrassed to do stuff in front of other people you don't have to perform. In all I highly recommend Kazue Suzuki as a piano teacher, it is hard work to learn how to play the piano or any instrument really, but it is worth it to dazzle the crowd and Kazue will help you do that."  - Madeline White (Age 10)

As an older adult student, I especially appreciate Kazue Suzuki's multi-faceted ability to correct long-standing problems in my playing.  She does so with a gentle, patient touch, but very clearly, with logical reasoning behind the new performance standard.  Kazue is also an inventive teacher.  For instance, if a student has difficulty understanding a rhythmical problem in one way, she finds another way--or several--to solve the issue.  Added to that, she is gracious, warm, quick to smile, and always very, very encouraging.

As a serious pianist in her own right, Kazue Suzuki maintains professional standards for herself as well, taking lessons from master teachers and performing in recitals and other public engagements.  As a result, she hasn't forgotten how it feels to be a student, still learning.  From the youngest student starting out to someone who hasn't played the piano in decades, Kazue Suzuki would be an exceptionally fine choice as a teacher.  Her musical knowledge in terms of form, style, and expressiveness is thorough (including theory), and her teaching style is wonderfully effective.  After a lesson with Kazue, a student wants to go home to practice.
